I have been a pastor for 33 years, 21 in Fresno/Clovis. I am married to Jackie (14 years) and have 2 children and 5 stepchildren. My unique journey back into ministry influences how I apply the Word of God. God is glorified most profoundly when the imperfect is used to accomplish God’s perfect will. It’s a miracle. It is God building a church that only He can build.

 

Speaking of building God’s church…in 2020 I planted a church in Old Town Clovis. After being approached by Joe and Ryan, who I have known for many years and partnered in ministry with them as well, about bringing our churches together, it seemed to be the right next step to follow and fulfill God’s intention of building His church in Fresno/Clovis. This journey has just started and I cannot wait to see what God is going to do through the ministry of First Street Church.

 

My favorite verse is John 10:10 which is my calling…to lead people to the abundant life Jesus has for them. This is what following Jesus is all about. It’s not an obligation, or a responsibility. It is a privilege!
