The Joe Basile Cliff Notes: I have been married to an AMAZING woman, Lisa Basile, for 20 years, and we have three great kids: Joey, Jade, and Jake. My life has been committed to full-time ministry since 1999, and I have been blessed to have been the lead pastor in churches in Chicago, Los Angeles, Clovis, and Fresno.

I was born and raised in Chicago – just ask me about it – and my wife is from Wisconsin; this instilled a Midwestern set of values in both us. You’d be surprised at the similarities between the Midwest and the Central Valley! We feel the same spirit of love, family, and community here...plus we get the sun! YAY!

On top of the honor of co-pastoring First Street Church, I have also hosted a documentary for the History Channel called The Jesus Strand and released a science fiction novel called The Last Qumranian.

I love using my gifts and passions in the arts to communicate deeper spiritual truths, revealing Jesus and His love to the world.
