Hello. Joseph Medina here. Born and raised in Tulare, CA, May 1974, to Joe and Becky Medina. I have 3 biological siblings and 6 children. I am a disabled veteran - Marine Corps and Army/National Guard - and I currently work as an underwriting assistant.

 

I am co-leading the Forged Ministry, the name for our Men's Ministry at First Street Church, with Floyd Ogle. Our goal is to ensure every man has a place to go where they are accepted and loved without judgement or condemnation for being men and walking out life. Our hope is that, through fellowship with one another, men will learn the importance of walking out life as a team, accountable to each other, with a Christ-centered mentality. The best benefit of being involved in this ministry is the fellowship: Getting to know other men from First Street and walking alongside them, pursuing God and living life.

 

Fun fact about me....life with me is rarely boring. It's not always fun nor enjoyable, but it's rarely boring. I don't know if that's a good thing, so maybe it's not a "fun" fact. Oh, and I cry every time I hear Taps played.
