In a nutshell.... Erik was raised a church-going non-believer. He is a US Navy Desert Storm veteran. His struggle with sexual purity continued after his military service, living in lies and darkness until, when in a therapy session with a Christian counselor, he received Jesus Christ into his life. For the last 17 years, he has been involved with New Creation Ministries, Celebrate Recovery and most recently, Soulcon, imperfectly learning how to do recovery as a believer and son of the Most High God.

Jill was the product of addiction and abuse. She was a believer who lost her way for several years, and at her lowest, prayed for God to take her. She has been active in Alcoholics Anonymous for over 22 years, is Director of the Fresno Clovis Recovery Summit, and works in recovery. She is a survivor of Alcoholism and Lung Cancer, and she believes God is not done with her yet and has called her to assist addicts in need of recovery.

We were married in 1996, active in our addictions and close to divorce a few years later. In 2005 we decided to get divorced. We were living as two separate and broken people. Out of desperation we walked into a church. We began to heal slowly and did a celebration of vows in 2011. Now we are two perfectly imperfect people who know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God loves us, and God loves you. All we want to do is help people realize how big God’s love is and show them there is life after addiction.
