All about me ...

I have been married to my beautiful Bride, Stephanie, for almost 30 years! Which means she deserves sainthood, or at least some sort of medal! We have raised our family in Fresno, and have built quite an amazing life as measured by the love of our children and grandchildren! While I do many things, I view my primary roles of being a husband, father, and grandfather as the most significant attributes of who I am! My personal mission is to “build people”, and while that comes in many forms, I understand that must start at home!
 

As the Executive Pastor at First Street Church I get the privilege of overseeing the ministries, staff, and volunteers. Having the honor of mentoring them is one of the most fun things that I have ever done as a job! I literally get to spend my days fulfilling what I determined years ago was my personal mission. What a blast! I also see this play out as an adjunct Business, Communications, and Psychology Instructor at various colleges and universities. (Though, it is
not nearly as much fun as ministry!) I have a deep hunger for seeing men reclaim the heart of biblical masculinity! It has been said that my relentless, authentic, bold, and assertive passion is well known! And, while my delivery
can be aggressive and even abrasive, it is vigorously purpose driven.

 

My driving force is a loving, passionate desire to see men rise up and lead in their homes, communities, and churches! I have the honor of speaking at Men’s Conferences frequently, and I have recently taken on the role as the Men’s Pastor at First Street Church alongside of leading the Executive Team of Gibborim, the largest digital Men’s Ministry in the world.
